Als eines der „HEAVYIEST FOLDER“ ist das RAO ein extrem kompaktes taktisches Klappmesser, es verfügt über eine sehr schwere, stabile starke Klinge die nicht nur einen sehr sicheren Verschluss, sondern zusätzlich auch einen Stahlpin hat der manuell festgedreht werden kann womit mit annähernd ein feststehendes Messer erhält.
Die Scheide wird mit Diamantschleifer geliefert und entspricht militärischen MOLLE Anforderungen. Das RAO Testudo wurde im Auftrag des „185. Rgt. Ricognizione ed Acquisizione Obiettivie“ (Target Acquisition Regiment) Airborne „Folgore“ (185. RAO) entwickelt. Das Motto dieses Regiments lautet: „Videre Nec Videri“ (sehen ohne gesehen zu werden), was auch zusammen mit dem Logo der RAO auf dem Messer eingraviert ist.

The folding range of knives have a shell made from a super strong anticorodal alloy and the best materials are used throughout to ensure reliability and longevity.
