Up for sale is a North Face Assault 2 single wall tent. This was purchased from REI early 2016 and I can't return it because it's just been over a year. Unfortunately I won't be doing any camping any time soon so I'm having to sell some of the camping gear I purchased. This tent is brand-new with tags, and has never been taken out of the bag, let alone setup or used. My loss is your gain ...**A note about single wall tents: Single wall tents are often preferred by high altitude mountaineers due to their light weight, low number of poles, and lack of need for a rain fly. They excel in dry high altitude air where the only moisture that is likely to fall is snow. If you use them at lower elevations where temperatures are above freezing, or in areas prone to rain, you're going to have problems unless you keep the door part way open to get rid of moisture from breathing. Single wall tents can often lead to poor reviews from people who do not understand how or where to use them. Please make sure you research the appropriate purpose of single wall tents to make sure this tent will serve your needs. Also, many reviews state you need to be fairly strong to get the fabric over the poles first few assemblies, until it loosens up.
