It is up to you if you want to “Wait and See” or “Buy It Now” ---- Here is a beautiful vintage skateboard dating to the 1970's. This Quicksilver skateboard is in near mint condition with practically no signs of use. The skateboard measures 28 ½” long, just over 6 ½” wide and weighs 5 ½ lbs. The deck is approximately ¼” thick with a think piece of wood sandwiched in between 2 thin sheets of aluminum. The distance from the outside edge of one wheel to the outside edge of the other wheel is 8 3/8”. Each wheel imeasures 2 ¼” from the outside edge to the inside edge and is 2 ½” wide from side to side. The top of the deck has 2 strips of grip tape applied and is marked: SIMS engraved on one end and 90kg and Sims (written in script) on the other end. The bottom of the board is marked QUICKSILVER and A Powell Corporation Product. There are no signs of use on the aluminum on either the top of the bottom of the deck and just one or two tiny bits of black paint missing from the graphics on the bottom. There are also some very faint, very small scratches from the board just being around for the last 40 years. The grip tape is perfect. There are no dings, dents, or chips on the nose or back end of the deck. Each of the dark red wheels is marked SIMS Pure Juice on the outside rims. There are some very tiny bits missing from the edges of the wheels on the inside rims – not from use or wear, but more of a natural occurrence, I think. The surface of the wheels show no signs of use or wear – no dents, dings, or gouges from the roads. The trucks are gold in color and are marked GULL WING, H.P.G. IV. There are in mint condition. Each truck is mounted to the deck with a piece of clear red plastic between the two. The pad is perfect match to the wheels. Everything on this skateboard is perfect. It was purchased and never used.
