Classic Moss Deltoid Tent - Made in Camden, Maine USA. Deltoid is a variant of the Big and Little Dipper Tents Includes fly, body, all poles, stakes, and Original Moss bags for stakes, poles and tent, and original instruction papers! Condition: This one is in excellent to very good condition for its vintage. The fly is in great shape and sheds wind and water like new. There are some minor stains from the fly being folded against the brass grommets (typical of Moss tents). The body is in excellent condition throughout. There are some minor stains on the body from being folded against the brass grommets. There is a small scrape on one side of the tent outside (picture 10). The fly and body both have the typical odor of older nylon and there is a slight tackiness to the waterproof fabrics (also typical of all Moss tents). Bottom of floor has typical earth marks from use. Zipper all work well, seems are tight. Mesh in mint condition. The poles are in very good condition. The original repair sleeve is also included. The Deltoid is a 4 season 2-3 person tent built to withstand heavy weather and last for decades. Variant of the Big and Little Dipper geometric system. The feeling of being inside of the Little Dipper is one of total protection and geometrical beauty. Leave the (HUGE) vestibule unzipped during all but the most extreme weather and watch the wonders of nature fall from the sky from the warmth and dryness of one of the most amazing shelters on earth.
