The Verago Dressage model is designed for riders who prefer a secure seat, narrow twist and well supported seat bone area. Trilogy Dressage Saddles are designed by Debbie Witty, Performance Saddlery's Principal, and are built by experienced English craftsmen with a laminated Beechwood tree, and hand-selected first quality leather that offers the rider an elastic broken-in feel. In conjunction with 15 years of research and a practice of using trained fitters to evaluate the horse and rider in work, hand-fitting, flocking and continued servicing of the saddle, Trilogy Dressage Saddles give riders distinct advantages - balance, comfort, and freedom of movement for the horse.
Trilogy's Strategy of Design for the Horse: thicker pure wool panel to create more elasticity for the horse's back; wide flat panel to disperse pressure; and a generous gullet to reduce pressure on the spinal area. Trilogy's Strategy of Design for the Rider: resilient, well-cushioned seat to lessen fatigue and improve feel; anatomically shaped thigh block; contoured thigh area enhances the drape of rider's leg; and a molded flap for close contact.This elegant saddle was purchased in 2017 for $ 3,775.00 and has been well cared for and is considered in excellent to nearly new condition. The saddle is marked Medium Wide but a Wide tree from the factory in England has been installed. It has been checked and reflocked by Trilogy saddle fitters at least yearly. It was custom made with silver white piping and a patent leather back panel behind the cantle and comes with a canvas Trilogy saddle cover.
