I ve had it for 6 years. Batteries were fairly new when I got it. I ve always kept the batteries plugged in and they are very good. Keep a full charge and I ve gone over 12 miles and still had lots of charge left. The red lite batteries I bought and was going to send away for reconditioning but never needed them so just kept them for spares if needed. I had a problem with the Segway starting so sent it to the Segway factory and while they had it apart checked it out and replaced anything that showed any wear at all. This is as close to new condition as you will find. It has original tires and show hardly any wear the machine only has 960 miles. Yes I will ship in the continental USA or a flat rate of 250.00. It will have to be shipped by ground as it has lithium ion batteries.
