Very nice comfortable for both horse and rider jump saddle ! In good used condition with normal wear. This saddle was used on a OTTB and fit her very well using the correct pads for this type of saddling. We no longer jump so may as well go to someone who will use it ! The seat measures approximately 17.25. Saddle flap is stamped 8X 2173 (pictured) Nice quilted saddle bag and Balance cover come with the saddle. From the Balance website: . This saddle is suitable for show-jumping (stadium), hunter/jumper, cross-country riding etc. For horses who demonstrate a preference for a saddle/tree that has less solid structure at the front. PLEASE BE AWARE… that riding in a saddle like this requires more balance and stability in the rider than a saddle that has tree with traditional points. There are two cantle options, to offer two different seat profiles. Option 1 has a low, squared cantle to provide a flatter seat profile that some riders prefer. Option 2 has a longer, sloping cantle, to provide a longer and slightly deeper seat profile that some riders will feel more secure in. The flap is smaller than on the GPJ style. This saddle looks similar to some of the popular close contact jump saddles, on the market, but has the advantage of the 'horse friendly' BALANCE features.
