The Mountain Equipment Aurora II has been developed for 3/4-season use in cold and damp conditions in temperatures as low as -7°C or in in extreme temperatures as low as -25°C. Lightweight materials combined with high lofting and very compressible synthetic insulation ensure this bag will not only perform in harsh conditions but it will not weigh you down when you're on the move. At camp the bag will quickly loft creating a warm environment protected by an integrated collar and a full zip baffle.The Aurora Range has been designed to excel in cold damp conditions where down insulation may struggle. Climashield insulation provides the the pinnacle of synthetic sleeping bag insulation, this is due to it's continuous hollow filament construction. Shingle constructed by using two continuous layers of Climashield Apex & Climashield Prism insulation. These are stitched to the bag's shell and lining, as the pieces overlap each other there's less chance of a cold spot at any one point.
