The fine item you are considering is an Antique Fred Mueller Western High Back Cowboy Saddle Denver Colorado. This amazing antique saddle was made by the historic firm of Fred Mueller in Denver, Colorado, and is highly tooled, so it looks like some extra effort went into this one. The saddle measures approximately 15” from the center of the horn to the back of the high back rise, and the original stirrups are included. The initials “AW” are stamped into the back of the saddle. The saddle in in pretty remarkable antique condition, with the leather still in pretty good shape, but it does show plenty of use (see photos) and the fleece is quite worn.
