Brown Rubicon, 17.5" seat. W tree (6" gullet). The comfort is outstanding. The seat is soft for those long rides and the leather is as beautiful as it is durable. The Rubicon has Buffalo leather, with wool flocked ( features super soft wool lined serge panels that are stuffed with 100% pure English lambs wool for the ultimate in comfort for your horses back ) black serge, gusseted panels, complete with velcro knee blocks and several dee rings. The Rubicon’s tree has a narrower head which will accommodate a fit horse with a higher wither. With a new innovative saddle tree featuring a more open pommel and swept back tree points, it gives a whole new freedom to the movement of the horse, eliminating restrictions in the shoulder area. The Rubicon also features new L & R® extended stirrup bar. .The stirrup bars are in a centered position for correct balance, thus enabling the rider to achieve a comfortable leg and riding position. Stirrup bars are hinged relieving any pressure on the horse that is a common problem in this area where the stirrup leathers are attached. The extended stirrup bar enables the rider to find the perfect leg position. Swing stirrup bars are made of the highest quality stainless steel and crafted to be unobtrusive to the rider’s thigh, which is a common problem associated with long distance riding. Other unique benefits include: Adjustable knee blocks and interchangeable, long / short billet system for a choice of girthing options.This model features unique billeting system offering the rider the flexibility to move the front billets; this coupled with the rear billet attached to a balancing ring to give the perfect girth line. 6 short (standard) or 4 long billets (custom) give a choice of girthing options.The billet straps offer the choice of point, center or rear and are easily changed. Interchangeable long/short billet system offer a choice of billeting.The Rubicon is available in X-grip Water buffalo with contrasting Xtra Tack calf seat and pads. Each saddle is finished to the highest standards with a host of features for the discerning rider. Premium grade British stainless steel ‘D’ rings for attaching a breastplate, crupper and personal equipment as needed.
