Saddle Size: 14" Saddle Type: Barrel Racing

Up for sale is my 14" barrel racing saddle. I bought it used and would have kept it but I lost my horse a few years back and don't see myself getting another horse. It has the nice, deep, secure seat as found on barrel racer saddles as well as that nice, rounded skirt to give the horse more room for motion in the rear quarters when turning barrels. As you can see from the photos, the saddle is well broken in and very comfortable. There's one area where the stitching has worn through the leather and that's the bottom of the left stirrup leather. I've taken a picture of it so you can see the split. It's not a structural issue, more cosmetic than anything, and I'm not a professional, but I'd say the leather has several more years left of use before you'd want to have the leather replaced. There's a few wear spots over the cantle in the rawhide rope work which in no way affects the usability of the saddle. You can zoom in to see it in the photos. I've tried to take pictures of all parts of the saddle so you can see the condition of the stitching/leather/wool. Also, as you can see, there's a name plate that came with this saddle. You can leave it (as I did), remove it, or replace it. It says "Charlie", so bonus if your name happens to be Charlie, I guess.I'd say it fits most women, or taller kids, as long as your inseam isn't longer than 34" inches or so. I'm 5'8" and it fit me on one hole from the bottom punched hole. The tree is rock solid. I pulled from cantle to pommel and it doen't move. It has full quarter bars, which is what sold me on the saddle as full quarter bars seem harder to find. I did my best to measure the bars with one hand holding the camera. From inside, under the pommel, on the sheep wool where one concho's attached on the top of the saddle to the other side where the other concho's attached on the top is approximately 7".I've put on a custom made leather cinch that measures 25" from buckle roller to buckle roller. The latigo is Buckaroo leather. All you need is a saddle pad and a bridle and you're ready to ride.I'll ship in the continental USA only. Happy bidding!
