Part of the Vango XD collection, the Tempest 300 uses the classic two pole tunnel tent construction but ramps up the fixtures and fittings to meet the needs of those who use their kit extensively. Recommended by DofE and The Scout Association because of its extra durability. The Tempest XD flysheet is constructed with a tough 75 denier polyester, made even more durable thanks to its rip stop weave. This means should the user manage to make an accidental hole it won’t spread across the flysheet and is easier to repair. The ground sheet has also been made tougher using a 150 denier polyester oxford. This tent is extremely simple and quick to pitch making it perfect for youth groups and long expeditions. Additional features to ensure the Tempest is extra durable includes reinforced pegging points on the flysheet, heavier duty pegs and heavy duty zips.     XD specification - Upgraded specification designed for situations where extra durability is required Tunnel tent - Style provides greatest space to weight ratio Flysheet and inner pitch together - Quick and easy to pitch and pack Protex® 75D 5,000mm XD Ripstop Polyester Flysheet - highly waterproof and extremely durable fabric 150 denier, 6,000mm polyester Oxford XD groundsheet - Waterproof, durable and reliable Vango PowerLite 7001-T6 alloy poles - Lightweight, durable and colour coded for intuitive pitching Colour coded poles for intuitive pitching Venturi Vent System - Combination of air flows creates a more comfortable environment by reducing the build up of condensation. When tensioned, the bands brace the pole at 3 points, and prevent sideways movement. Adjust TBS® II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather
