I'm selling a 5-Man Arctic Tent "AS IS". So I need you to read this ad very carefully because I will NOT accept returns on this particullar Item. You are buyin this tent with a full understanding that the tent is DAMAGE and it needs repairs. We need to have this concept very clear before you buy it. Make sure you have the way of fixing the tent and all you need to make this project sucessful.Tent got damaged on the last snow storm we had, we were meant to get 3 to 5 inches of snow and we ended up with 18 to 20 inches of heavy snow. When I woke up the tent was already damaged. Normally I clean the snow on every storm every so many hours to avoid damage but on this one I got real sick and I couldn't get up having high fever. As you can see on pictures the grommet was perforated by the center pole, but it can be fixed by adding a 2 ply of fabric one inside and one outside and sawing it to make it strong again. I have the fabric for that, needle and thread. This is a great opportunity to eliminate the grommet and add a strap with a D-Ring to support the tent with 3 outside poles instead of the pole inside. I was planning to do that this summer but I won't have the time to be able to fix the tent. So I would rather sell it "AS IS" and have some one fix it and you will have a nice tent the way you want it, to go hunting or camping etc. Also the liner has water stain I bought it like that it looks like it was leaking before and a 7" rip on the bottom, (See Picture for reference) I didn't realize it had frozen to the ground and pulled it thinking it was free. It can be mended back again if you are handy with a sewing machine its minor and it won't hinder its performance. Also some of the flaps have some small rips as well, but you will have enough fabric to fix the tent, just make sure you do a D-Ring or if you decide to just put a good heavy patch on top you can have a center pole padded with fabric like a Q-tip style to prevent future rip. I will include FREE SHIPPING and I believe it has to go UPS because of its weight not sure I will let you know which carrier I choose and give you a tracking number for your convenience. I'm trying to be transparent with you here I don't like to deceive people I believe honesty is the best policy. It's a real good tent, it kept me warm in winter and is very comfortable. I recommend treating the tent for weather again you have to do it every so many years. I put otter wax on the seams last fall to protect the stitches. The tent is plenty big inside, I had a cot a wood stove and full size cooler and two chairs and I have plenty space to walk around. But you can have more space by eliminating the center pole and adding a D-Ring with the 3 pole in the outside it will make the tent easy to erect and give you more stability.I bought this tent used and it served me well and I know it will serve you good as well.
