Salewa Wildfire GTX Walking Shoes
Designed for approaches, technical hiking, and rocky mountain paths, the Wildfire S GTX offers very good climbing performance thanks to it's Vibram Tech Approach EVO outsole.
GORE-TEX Upper The Wildfire GTX is a low-cut tech approach shoe which is equipped with a ballistic mesh upper which provides great durability while offering ventilation to the feet, keeping them feeling cool and dry throughout a long walk. Fitted with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Lining which offers waterproof protection, breathability, and durability. The GORE-TEX membrane is completely water and windproof and at the same time allows sweat to pass through it. The membrane is formed by pores (over 9 billion pores per square inch) which are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule preventing water penetration and helping the skin breathable. Additionally, equipped with an EXA Shell grid structure which wraps around your upper foot, providing you with a precise fit and perfect front foot balance, while also minimising abrasion of the upper material. The Wildfire features a Climbing Lacing system which offers accurate adjustment in the toe area of your shoe, giving you more support and performance when tackling technical terrain. MFF+ Midsole The midsole is developed with the innovative multi-layer MFF+ which allows for more customisation on the forefoot by using two interchangeable layers to accommodate a greater range of foot shapes and sizes while enabling Salewa's trademark Alpine Fit 100% blister free guarantee.
