Having worked with Cliff for some time now, lots of repairs, and a custom saddle later...we've gotten to know Cliff. His style, craftsmanship, and the saddles themselves are works of art. Folks that have a Langerud made don't sell them. So we are honored to offer these great saddles. Cliff has made dozens of Barrel saddles through the years, but used ones are unheard of. This lovely saddle was commissioned as a Birthday present. Due to a horse passing, it was barely ridden in. That is clear. It's been meticulously oiled and kept in the house. This Barreler sits on the coveted Buster Welch tree. 6.5" gullet, QH bars, and about 30 pounds. Stainless rigging, turned stirrups, suede 15" seat, real wool, and 24" skirt top it off. The seat will fit a smidge smaller. This saddle is hand tooled with darling accents. We see this saddle hitting the arena as a Barrel, Working Cowhorse, or even a Western Dressage partner. With the stings, padded, and balanced seat...it would be perfect for the trails too! Now, here's the cool thing. This saddle is a steal. I promise, this one won't last long.
