Extremely Rare Western Side Saddle Made between 1867-1880 Saddle Maker: Gwinn & Brainerd, Petaluma, California This saddle is in beautiful condition and is currently rideable with a couple of repairs if someone does not want it exclusively as a collector saddle. The carvings are very unusual with a variety of flower and leaf engravings. The leaping horn has wear and tear on the underside of the horn. It would need repairs to be used for riding. The overgirth would need to be replaced for safety if this saddle was to be used for riding. More photos can be provided if requested. This is a very old, rare saddle and is being sold as a collector piece.
