Latest generation First Light Tomahawk MC. You see plenty of the older ones on the auction site, mostly 100 lumens. Those were the 1st generation from about 2010 and are known to have high parasitic losses from the old style driver board. The one picture and up for sale is the latest generation driver board (over 700 years for parasitic loss drain - if light is never powered on and if the battery lasts long enough) as well as the RED and GREEN modes. The main LED has been upgraded to the EXCEPTIONAL Nichia 219B 93+ CRI 4000K. You may see lots of other listings from the "cheap china" lights of the Nichia 219B, but they usually only list "high cri" rather than the real number. "High cri" from the other guys usually means 70, this one is rated for 93+, a huge difference. I've modified lights for EMTs, police, military and other gov ops for the last 7 years with zero complaints. This Nichia 219B 93+ CRI model would be recommended for those that require the ultimate in color recognition including possible medical usage due to the exceptional R9 deep red rendering. The other LED manufacturers of single high power LEDs can't even come close.
