U.S. made Dana Design Arcflex Terraplane from back when they where manufactured in Bozeman, MT. I've taken this pack on quite a few hikes, 16 mi. plus, carrying all of mine and my wife's gear for staying out over night and this pack carries beautifully. Comes with a beaver tail; the black piece on the outside of the pack, for attaching a snow shovel or whatever else you want out there. Pack also has ice axe and crampon attachment points. Internal compression strap helps keep the weight nice and high as you hike to your destination. Also comes with two external pouches, not pictured above.
