Now the children have grown up, we have no use for the trailer tent.
1997 Raclet Herald with the optional 1 metre extension, front box, roof linings and 2 underbed tents (one is Raclet, the other not sure of make).
It will also come with a wheel clamp, a pair of storm guy ropes, gas bottle and a pair of winter wheels.
The tyres and a main extension pole were replaced about 3 years ago and the cover (genuine Raclet about 6 years ago)It’s still in good condition with no leaks (last used 3 years ago), although don't expect something perfect for a 23 year old trailer tent. Some of the poles will need re-springing (we probably have some spares included), but last time out we were perfectly dry despite some very wet weather.About 8 years ago, we had a wheel fall off which damaged the wheel arch and minor damage to the inside cabinet. As you can see from the pictures the arch was replaced (again a Raclet part) and we’ve had no other issues since.
When erected it is one of the largest you’ll see on a UK Campsite! Also included will be the original sales brochures. The pictures are about 10 years old as i don't have any recent ones available.I will add pictures of the outside of the TT when it's folded and ready to tow.collection in person only - I won't deliver.29.04.2017: i have added some new pictures as in places the mudwall has had rips from the previous owner and these have been patched and have remained like that virtually since we bought it over 10 years ago.The step on the body of the unit has cracked underneath, either use it as it is or add some support underneath. again not affected our camping.opened it out for the first time this year and it's still nice and dry with no mould that i can see and gladly no mouse poo.also included will be a double airbed and a wardrobe (has to be made up when on site).it's been a really good place to spend time on holidays and we've wheeld it our int eh summer for the children and their friends to have "camping sleepovers".....if you've got a question please ask, as we have described it to the best of our ability and aren't trying to hide anything.thank you all for watching and hopefully someone will be taking it away next week.
