A tent like the Tønsberg, named after Norway's oldest town, is a sight you don´t see every day. Unusual: the flysheet is not attached to the main tent and can therefore be left off. This results in an excellent ventilation of the inner tent, making the Tønsberg ideal for spring and summer. Just leave off the flysheet in those dry and balmy summer nights and hot days. Several entrances in the living area and a large window in the sleeping cabin will let in even more fresh air and light. The sleeping cabin can be divided into two areas by a removable tent wall. The entrances and window can be zipped shut. Truly remarkable is the central front entrance that converts into a sun shade for even more space on sunny days. Speaking of which - there is plenty of space for 5 persons. Taller persons also don´t need to fear: with an enormous peak height of up to 220 cm stooping is a thing of the past! Clever skandika extras, such as a hook for a lantern and mosquito mesh on all windows and entrances make for a truly pleasant camping experience. Should it start to rain heavily, just pull the flysheet with its 4.000 mm water column over the main tent. The sewn-in tent floor will not only keep uninvited crawling visitors out it will also protect you from water. Of course, waterproof sealed seams are a standard with all our tents.
