Passier Precision close contact jumping saddle in excellent used condition. Saddle has a 17 inch seat and medium wide tree. The saddle is marjed 16.5 but measures 17". Cut back pommel allows for wonderful wither clearance. Wool flocked! This saddle can be reflocked to adjust to fit your horse. Integrated knee and fixed thigh blocks keep your leg secure. Square cantle gives it a traditional look appropriate for the hunter ring, jumping, and eventing. The seat is open and generous so if you normally ride in a larger seat you might not need to in this saddle. For that reason it's also a good choice for a rider with a long femur. This saddle is excellent for big shouldered horses with a somewhat curvy back. I sold the horse this saddle was used on and that's why it's up for sale. Passier saddles are made in Germany and wear like iron. It's not unusual to find Passier saddles still out there working hard after 30 years of service. This saddle shows normal wear from use but the leather and stitching are in excellent condition. No cracking, tears, or other defects.
