The Halo XD uses the same Semi geodesic construction as the “Halo”, but has been designed to meet the needs of those who use their kit more extensively. Recommended by DofE and The Scout Association because of the extra durability built in. The Halo XD flysheet is constructed with a tough 75 denier polyester, made even more durable thanks to its rip stop weave. This means, should the user manage to make an accidental hole it won’t spread across the flysheet and is easier to repair. The ground sheet has also been made tougher using a 150 denier polyester oxford. This tent is extremely simple and quick to pitch making it perfect for youth groups and long expeditions. Additional features to ensure the Halo is extra durable include reinforced pegging points on the flysheet, heavier duty pegs and heavy duty zips...
