Orthoflex Express Lite 16” – Approximate weight 23 pounds  The Express Lite has a comfortable seat and upper thigh rolls for terrific security during the unexpected shy and for fast down hill riding.  The stirrup straps are positioned a little forward of those on the Endurance Cutback, but are behind those of the Patriot.  This saddle has a flatter seat to it than other Orthoflex distance/trail models.  This gives more room to move around in the saddle on long trail rides.   Gullet width is  “Full” size.  (8 ¾ “)  Full tree with smooth rounded fork and has a good cantle for support. Overall Length Short System 6-22 Flex panels/skirt – Good for most applications and a short backed horse, those with exceptional gait/shoulder movement, and all but severe drop behind the withers.  Medium twist Thick 3 inch knee rolls for added security Yoke, Flex – fit dropped – English/Endurance style Extra D rings Stirrup straps originally Biothane -  I  upgraded to leather with Blevins buckles in 2013. Western seat sizing (16”) – upgraded seat “Plush” option – 1 ¼” Traditional Smooth Padding – hand contoured, very comfortable seat.  The second to last photo shows a close-up of the metal plate on the saddle.  The EL-160 on the plate means Express Lite 16 inch seat.
