A genuine Drascombe Lugger Camping Tent purchased as "unused" and not used by me. Unfortunately as I sold the Lugger a number of years ago (the new owner did not want the tent) I cannot erect the tent! I would suggest looking at the Churchouse boats website. They have a PDF file showing a picture of an erected tent. The tent has triangular windows fore and aft. The forward end includes a collar that wraps around the mast. The entrance at the stern has a large flap which seals with Velcro. When purchased the tent did not have poles. I contacted Churchouse boats and they informed me that 1" plastic conduit was normally used and they supplied the correct lengths. Whilst the conduit worked reasonable well it was obvious that onboard storage would be a problem. So I then purchased replacement fibreglass tent poles and cut these to fit. These work well but they need a wider foot fitted to fill the pockets on each side of the tent - I suspect a section of cotton reel could be an adequate fit!The tent was supplied with cheap polypropylene rope which I replaced with Liros Classic three-strand polyester. These are eye-spliced to the tent and back-spliced on the ends. There are a couple of very minor faults which I have photographed - they are cosmetic and do not affect the use of the tent. There is some minor corrosion on some of the tent pole ferrules. A couple of the brass eyelets on the tent have verdigris which I expect would polish off. There are some white spots noticeable on the tent, this is not mould, but a result of using waterproofing fluid on the material. The product used was supposed to dry to a clear finish but for some reason a few white-ish spots remained after applying the treatment. The tent is supplied with a matching storage bag as seen on the photos.Any questions please to hesitate to ask.Item weighs 5kg.
