Serial#AB5870B stamped on the back of the cantle under the Visalia maker stamp. Marked on the seat also. This saddle has had some repairs, the stirrup leathers are not original and have Blevins buckles that have had the slide part removed to reduce bulk. The flank cinch is not original and probably not the strings. The stirrups are new, cast aluminum oxbows. Not sure what else. The leather is supple and its rideable. The tree is not broken. Visalia Stock Saddles, San Francisco, CA, one of the best makers. I don't know the date it was made. One photo shows the gullet size. 16 in seat.
