34 inch tree .Very comfortable padded seat, meant for hours in the saddle trail riding or fox hunting. I used it on a young horse because it is so secure and really helps when a horse spooks or makes unplanned moves, but it doesn't lock your leg into place because you can either put the removable knee and calf blocks in (attached with velcro) for more support or remove them for more leg freedom. This saddle is all purpose, but with a forward flap, which slants it more towards jumping. Duett is an American company and they are used a lot in Police forces because these saddles are built like tanks- the leather IS hard to break in, but it lasts. Fortunately, I did the breaking in and conditioning on this one, so you can skip that part! selling new right now for $1,420.
