Mit einem Gewicht von nur 138 Gramm erledigt es zuverlässig alle Aufgaben, die von einem Klappmesser als ständigem Begleiter erwartet werden können.Feine Arbeiten sind die Spezialität des Extrema Ratio MF0Als besonders praktisch gerade für feinere Arbeiten erweist sich die Klinge in Schaffuß-Form. Dieses Design ermöglicht durch eine Zeigefinger-Führung an jeder Stelle des Klingenrückens den für die jeweilige Aufgabe präzisen Einsatz des Folders. Die durchgehend geschliffene, sehr schnitthaltige Schneide überzeugt durch eine hohe Schärfe, die mit einem geeigneten Stein leicht nachgeschliffen werden kann. Dies wird gewährleistet durch den auf 58 HRC gehärteten, hochwertigen Böker N690 Klingenstahl. Im unteren Teil der Klinge ist ein Handschutz mit Lanyard-Loch integriert, der, wenn das Extrema Ratio MF0 zusammengeklappt ist, auch als Flipper eingesetzt wird, um das Aufklappen zu erleichtern. Das Einrasten erfolgt über einen Linerlock. Diese 1,5 Millimeter starke Feder springt hinter die Klinge und erlaubt kein Klingenspiel. Wird das Extrema Ratio MF0 härter gefordert, was bei einer Stärke der 70 Millimeter langen Klinge von vier Millimetern durchaus möglich ist, verschafft eine zusätzliche Verriegelung einen weiteren mechanischen Schutz vor einem versehentlichen Zusammenklappen des Extrema Ratio MF0.
