Ich verkaufe dieses in Handarbeit hergestellte Full Tang 1095 High Carbon Steel Combat Ready Schwert mit Lederscheide. Es ist aus Sinlge Layer High Carbon Stahl gefertigt und hat ein Powder Coating Finish, um Rost zu verhindern und für den dark gothic Style. Dieses Schwert wurde noch nie benutzt, sondern war für mich ausschliesslich ein Sammlerstück für Displayzwecke, auch wenn es für Trainings- oder Showzwecke sehr gut verwendbar ist. Es ist sehr scharf und hält seine Schärfe auch bei Gebrauch, aufgrund des Härtegrads. Ich habe immer Waffenöl verwendet und habe es in einem Schaufenster aufbewahrt, so dass kein Rost oder Staub sich bilden konnte. Der Gewichtsanteil von Griff und Klinge ist nahezu perfekt. Schwert Länge: 83 cm Klingenlänge: 60 cm Grifflänge: 23 cm Gewicht: 1,5kg ohne Lederscheide Klingenmaterial: 1095 6mm starker Kohlenstoffstahl mit Puderbeschichtung in vollem Tang. Das Design ist nah am "Diphos" Schwert angelehnt, das ein altes keltisches Design für ein- oder zweihändige Schwerter darstellt. Dieser Entwurf ist der Prototyp des viel später erfundenen, kleineren und nur einhändig verwendbares "römisches Gladius" Schwert. Der Unterschied zum "Diphos" ist die ca. 5cm kürzere Grifflänge, die es besser ausbalanciert und etwas besser als Einhandwaffe aber ebenso gut noch als Zweihandwaffe gebrauchen lässt.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Im selling this hand crafted full Tang 1095 High Carbon Steel Combat Ready Sword with Leather Sheat. It is made of Sinlge Layer High Carbon Steel and has a Powder Coating Finish to prevent rust and for the dark gothic style of it.This sword has never been used but has been a collectable item for display purposes even tho it is very usable for training or show purposes. It is very sharp and holds its edge very well since the material it is made of.I always used weapon oil and have it closed in a showcase so there is no rust or dust on it. The weight proportion of the handle and blade is close to perfect.Sword Lenght : 83 cmBlade Lenght : 60 cmHandle Lenght : 23 cmWeight : 1.5kg without SheatBlade material : 1095 6mm thick High Carbon Steel with powder coating finish in Full Tang. So it is very durable.The sword design is close to the "Diphos" sword which represents an ancient celtic sword design for using one or two handed. This design is the prototype of the much later invented smaller only one handed "Roman Gladius" sword. The difference to the "Diphos" is the about 5cm shorter handle lenght, which makes it more usable as a one handed weapon combined with a shield. But its still perfectly usable with two hands.
