I purchased this saddle used in February of 2016, it was reflocked at that time. The saddle has had minimal use since, due to a recurrence of a suspensory injury to my horse. It has been cleaned after each ride and conditioned regularly. 18" front to back of seat. Flap 16 1/2" from stirrup latch to bottom. Trilogy Dressage Saddles are built in England by some of the most experienced craftsmen in the world. They feature a British tree made of laminated Beechwood, and a specially tanned hide from England that offers the rider an elastic broken-in feel. The tree on these saddles are completely adjustable. Strategy of Design for the Horse: Fuller, thicker pure wool panel to create more panel elasticity for the horse's back. Wide, flat panel to supply dispersion of pressure. Generous width of gullet to eliminate spinal trauma. Standard 3-inch gusset for positive influence on saddle balance. Stirrup bar angled in awareness of tree/body width.
