This is a waterproof backpack, with a single top load compartment and weighing in at just 3+ lbs. The completely waterproof seam-taped VaporTight fabric and roll-top drybag closure keeps everything inside dry - even if you're using it as a life preserver after you fell out of the raft or take a dunk during a river crossing. There are two waterproof zipper closure pockets in the removable top lid that provide some extra storage and quick access to gear - the rest is a single top load compartment that closes up like a roll-top drybag. There's a sealable cap/gasket for access to a hydration bladder pocket inside the pack so you can run the bite tube out. The AC2 Suspension and hip-belt system has the added benefit of not interfering with a climbing harness. This pack has been used a couple of times on trips and has been well taken care of. It's been stored in the gear closet for the past few years. This pack is great for hiking/bushwhacking through wet brush or crossing rivers, alpine climbing, canyoneering, or kayak/rafting trips. This pack was discontinued by Arc'teryx and is becoming harder and harder to find. While it has been used a few times, it's still in great condition and has a long life ahead of this.
