Thank you very much for stopping by!We are absolutely thrilled to offer a fantastic one-of-a-kind vintage women's barrel racing championship saddle. Martha Josey model by Circle Y. The saddle is in very good vintage shape with indicated and expected wear. Both fenders indicate that this was awarded to the women's overall winner during the 1990 Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo.The craftsmanship of the saddle, which is entirely hand-made, is superb. This one has the added bonus of having Coors Beer advertising logos hand-tooled on either flank. The leather has some nice wear and remains pliable. There are contemporary straps that suggest that the saddle was ridden until recently. The saddle horn has been wrapped in gauze, presumably to improve the grip.We have examined it closely and the only issue we saw was some wear and slight separation of the sheep's wool lining, as shown. We are not saddle experts to please ask any questions. We appreciate your interest!
