Stubben Siegfried CS Jump Saddle
Black
29cm, which is Stubben's medium narrow
17.5" seatAppropriate for all levels of jumping, hunting. Secure front and rear triangle blocks. The CS saddles have a half deep, slightly wider seat, square cantle, forward flaps.
Shows typical and expected signs of a used saddle. Some further details of what you will see on this saddle:
*Some minor scratching and 'knicks" throughout on leather, overall leather in really good shape.
*In sunlight the seat shows slight discoloring/fading.
*A previous owner wrote initials of "KA" in permanent pen on underside in channel.
*Cantle has some "dings."
*Inside pommel you will see where the felt buttons used to be. Previous owner decided not to keep these on when it was restuffed as it was preferred not too (this also directly correlates with the panel stitching mentioned below). It appears there is a stitch missing inside pommel when in fact that is just where the felt buttons used to be.
*There are a couple of stitches that appear to be missing underside in center of both panels. This is stitching that is not actually required and does not affect integrity of saddle. It correlates to the felt buttons that are used to separate stuffing. Some people actually prefer not to have that stitching as they say it separates the stuffing and gives a less even contact on the horse. I spoke with a professional repair shop and sent pictures etc to verify and I quote the response, "That is stitching that was added, most likely to change the panel shape. The panel is a full panel and it is not necessary to restitch that if you don't want to."I tried to show all of this in photos so please review. This saddle is in good used condition with many years of use left per Stubben's quality craftsmanship. Quality jump saddle at an affordable price. Nicely broken in leather.
Per previous owner, saddle was reflocked summer 2016 Please inquire for any additional photos and I will be glad to send them. Happy to answer any questions. All sales final. Will ship via Fedex ground with signature required.
Per manufacturer:
"The saddles of the Siegfried range are the true classics in the Stübben saddle collection. There is no other saddle type that helped win so many Olympic competitions, World Championships and other important titles. The Siegfried CS model is a jumping saddle with a half deep seat and a square cut cantle, made of full grain cow hide with medium sized knee and calf blocks. Even after so many years, the Siegfried CS is still one of the best selling saddles in our collection, both for top athletes and for riders at the grass-roots level. Unbeatable as to quality and price."
USED SADDLE DISCLAIMER, please read as it has become necessary to include this information in my ads:
This is a used saddle and is being sold as-is. Pictures are part of the ad so please review them carefully. Please inquire for any additional photos and ask any unanswered questions as I do not accept returns. I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. It is also expected that the buyer has done outside research on the saddle and is happy with information they have found. Purchasing the saddle means you are happy with pictures/ad/research/answers to questions. I will do my best to provide information and measurements as requested, but cannot guarantee fit for horse or rider. I will do my best to provide information/pictures about any known flaws/issues, but I do not know the full history of the saddle and repairs that may have been made (although I will do my best to note the ones I see). You should expect typical signs of a used saddle (stirrup marks, dirt, leather marks/discoroloring, etc). It is impossible to note every mark on a used saddle, but major flaws that I see will be noted in photos/ad.
